What We Do
Our goal is to create a thriving network of LGBTQ+ organizations dedicated to fostering community, generating awareness, and offering valuable resources and support for advocates. The Collective enhances the capability of LGBTQ+ programs, ensuring the focus remains on meeting the mission.
Support
The greatest challenge facing LGBTQ+ nonprofits is a lack of resources, institutional knowledge, and volunteers. We solve this problem by providing administrative, financial, and digital services so that the mission remains the focus.
Awareness
We achieve empowerment through professional training, allied directories, and statewide legislative advocacy to bring key issues to the community, to decision makers, and to our members. We provide a coordinated response network to ensure timely impacts.
Community
We coordinate the largest network of active community in Virginia - bringing together actual LGBTQ+ leaders to learn together, brainstorm, and make an impact alongside our shared LGBTQ+ events portal. Our goal is that no matter where you go, you're safe.
